Krrish 4: Hrithik Roshan’s Film Sees Major Shakeups Amid Rs 700 Crore Budget Rumors

Hrithik Roshan’s much-anticipated film Krrish 4 has been a hot topic among fans, but recent reports hinted at yet another delay. It was speculated that the film faced a budget hurdle of ?700 crore, leading to production challenges. However, new updates suggest a different story, bringing both good and bad news for fans.

A report from Bollywood Hungama claimed that Krrish 4 requires an estimated budget of ?700 crore. A source revealed, "Krrish 4 warrants the budget of approx. ?700 crores, and no studio is willing to shell out such an exorbitant amount and take that big a risk." Hrithik had initially assigned the responsibility of securing a studio to filmmaker Siddharth Anand, who was also attached as a producer.

However, considering the changing landscape of superhero films, especially in the post-Marvel era, many studios are hesitant to invest such a huge amount. The long gap since Krrish 3 has also raised concerns. Due to these challenges, Siddharth Anand and Marflix will no longer be associated with the film.

With the project facing hurdles, Hrithik Roshan and his father, Rakesh Roshan, have decided to personally negotiate with studios across India. They aim to finalize a strong partnership under their home banner, FilmKraft, in collaboration with a major production house.

Adding to the changes, filmmaker Karan Malhotra, who was earlier brought on board by Siddharth Anand, has also exited the project. A new creative team will be formed to reassess the budget and ensure a feasible execution plan. A report from Movie Talkies clarified that Krrish 4 might not require a ?700 crore budget, dismissing previous speculations. However, it confirmed that both Siddharth Anand and Karan Malhotra are no longer involved.

Meanwhile, Rakesh Roshan confirmed in an interview that he has retired from directing but assured fans that Krrish 4 is in development and will be officially announced soon. Fans now eagerly await further updates on this superhero franchise.
