Kriti Sanon opens up about the appreciation received by Mimi, says it was ‘literally a piece of my heart’

Kriti Sanon recently saw the release of the herself-shouldered film, Mimi ahead of her birthday and the actress has been receiving some raving reviews for her performance calling it her 'career's best', or how this is a 'new era of Kriti Sanon.'

Talking about all the praises she has been receiving ever since the release, Kriti shares, 

"I honestly have no words to express what I am feeling right now. Mimi literally was a piece of my heart and the way everyone has accepted it and showered it with love is just really really overwhelming."

She adds, "Right from the time I heard the script, I believed that this one is going to be special and I’m glad that I could do justice to the role."

Kriti had also gained 15 kilos for her role in Mimi, even at this point in her career to make her character look more real when she played a pregnant woman and indeed the film has been a game-changer of sorts for the leading actress.

Kriti added, 

"I had put in a lot of work for it and I am really glad that people are seeing that, as an actor this kind of appreciation is what drives me to push my limits and give it my all to a role. I am so happy to say that this delivery has been successful."

Cementing her place amongst the top performers in mainstream actresses after Mimi, Kriti Sanon will also be seen in Adipurush with Prabhas, Bachchan Pandey, Bhediya, Ganapath, Hum Do Hamaare Do along with another unannounced project.
