KL Rahul & Athiya Shetty will host a lavish wedding celebration post IPL: Reports

There’s much excitement around Athiya Shetty and cricketer KL Rahul’s wedding, which will take place on January 23 in Khandala. However, the news of the lighting and decoration outside the couple’s supposed residence in Pali Hill is untrue. According to reports from Etimes, videos and pictures of decorations around a Bandra building are being shared attributing it to the couple’s wedding celebrations.That place is not even where they live.

The reports further stated that, Only in March, Suniel Shetty and Mana move into the 9th floor of their Bandra building, and the lighting done is for another wedding on the 13th floor. The wedding festivities will take place privately at Suniel Shetty's Khandala residence.

While the bride and groom have been quiet about their big day, the wedding preparations are in full swing. If reports are to be believed, the wedding will be an extremely private ceremony with just the couple’s close friends and family in attendance. And there will be around 100 guests at the big-day.

Whether the cricket players would be able to attend the wedding has not yet been decided because it is planned during the ongoing India-New Zealand cricket series. Particularly close friends with KL Rahul are Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya. Reports stated that post the IPL concludes in May, a wedding bash has been planned for the film industry and cricket grandees due to the demanding cricket schedules." While the wedding is scheduled for January 23, guests are expected to start arriving on January 21.
