New Delhi, June 29 (IANS) Mountain biking, deep sea diving, rock climbing, river rafting - if such adventures give you an adrenaline rush, get set for the Himalayan Expedition 2011, organised by Kingfisher.
The first edition of the 11-day event, which kicks off July 5 from Leh, is an attempt to bring together adventure enthusiasts.
'We wish to create a community of like minded people, young at heart, seeking thrill from whatever they do in life. The Kingfisher Blue MILE - Himalayan Expedition 2011 is just the beginning of many more thrilling adventures,' Samar Singh Shekhawat, senior vice president, UBL Group, owners of the Kingfisher Airlines, said in a statement.
The expedition will include adventures in and around Zanskar river, Nubra Valley, Khardung la, Pangong Lake and Rohtang Pass, among other such spots in the Himalayas.
Interested candidates can register at www.kingfisherworld.com to enter a contest, and those shortlisted will be taken for the adventure ride.
