Everyone has been observing the Kim Soo-Hyun case with a lot of interest. A top Hallyu star, Soo-Hyun known for his superhit Korean dramas and good performances was the victim of immense cyberbullying after it was alleged that he dated Kim Sae-Ron when she was a minor. The Bloodhounds actress died by suicide on his birthday in 2025. While she did not leave behind anything incriminating him for her stress or turmoil, a lady now known as the ‘aunt’ shared screenshots of some chats with Garosero.

As the matter escalated with Kim Soo-Hyun suing the family for 12 billion Korean won, Garosero held one more press conference with a recording, which was said to be between late Kim Sae-Ron and a US man who is known as ‘informant’. She allegedly told him that she slept with him for the first time when she was in the eighth grade. This makes her around 13-14 years of age. The Queen Of Tears star has maintained that they dated when she was 19 and he was around 31. Garosero said Kim Sae-Ron was scared for the life of the informant who was allegedly attacked at New Jersey airport by Chinese and Korean assailant.

Now, the Korean Consulate in the US has stepped in and said that no one reported a murderous assault on a Korean man by a fellow Korean or other person. A media report on May 19 from Consulate General revealed, “There has been no case of our national being arrested for attempted murder or other crimes against our nationals abroad within our jurisdiction.”

“There has been no case of our national being arrested for attempted murder or other crimes against our nationals abroad within our jurisdiction.”

This means that this crime was not reported to any police station in New Jersey. Some people also said that it was impossible that a knife attack in New Jersey airport would go unnoticed by CCTV. As per Article 36 of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, if a Korean national is arrested or detained, local law enforcement authorities are obligated to notify the consulate at the earliest. In a statement, the Consulate General explained, “We have not received any notification in this regard to date.” When asked if the FBI was investigating the case, they said they are in no position to confirm this information.

Garosero’s Kim Se Ui said that goons allegedly hired by Kim Soo-Hyun stabbed a man in the neck for almost nine times. Later, the injuries became minor ones like cut on the arm and left hand. The victim, Mr A was the one who provided an audio file to Kim Se Ui which had late Kim Sae-Ron allegedly saying, “I dated Kim Soo Hyun when I was a minor.” Kim Soo-Hyun’s side has slammed such evidence as AI-generated and completely fake.
