Kim Soo-Hyun’s case captured global interest since March 2025. The actor basking in the success of his blockbuster Netflix show, Queen Of Tears got hit by a number of allegations ranging from dating an underage Kim Sae-Ron to hiring assassins to eliminate the whistleblower who knew about the said relationship. Now, the cases are being investigated by Gangnam Police. Kim Soo-Hyun’s side has filed six to seven cases on Kim Se Ui of Garosero Research Institute, and the family of the deceased actress. They have also filed three cases on him. However, so far no conclusive evidence has emerged of them dating from 2015 to 2017, which is the core of the issue.

Lee Jin-Ho said in his latest livestream that Kim Soo-Hyun has been quite resilient. There are reports of him selling off one of his units in Seoul’s Foret Galleria where he had three homes. It seems it is to pay off the penalties imposed on him by advertisers. He said that Kim Soo-Hyun just needs to be more patient as the trial will take more than a year. He has filed a lawsuit of 12 billion Korean won on the deceased actress’ family and Garosero. If he wins, then the advertisers can claim money from the party responsible for his defamation.

He also said that Kim Soo-Hyun too was in extreme pain when the allegations kept flying at him. The media reporting did not investigate the authenticity of the claims made by Kwon Young-chan and Garosero Research Institute and posted defamatory headlines. From being termed as a pedophile to sensational headlines of sexual nature, the media trial was one of the worst in South Korea. Lee Jin-Ho reportedly said that he even thought of taking drastic measures when the pain got unbearable. However, things are more stable now. Jin-Ho said his legal firm LKB is looking into the details as the investigation gains momentum.
