Kiara Advani Prays for a return on the sets as soon as possible!

The world has been on a standstill since the coronavirus outbreak and celebrities are doing their best to help the government by contributing to monetary funds. While the nation remains under lockdown, government officials have been taking up the right measures to contain the spread of COVID-19. Meanwhile, the shooting of several films has hit a roadblock, and actors are waiting for the lockdown to end.

Before the government decreed nationwide lockdown, Kiara was busy shooting for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ with Kartik Aaryan and the team returned home from their Lucknow schedule. 

Riding high on the success of ‘Kabir Singh’ and ‘Good Newwz’, Kiara is keen to return to films, she told Mumbai Mirror, “Earlier, I was so busy working, I didn’t have the time to enjoy my recent successes. Now, I do. I’m praying every day that we can go back to the sets as soon as possible. It’ll be a lot different, but I’m hoping for the best."

She also talked about people who have been suffering because of the pandemic and said, "Several people, including me, were confused about the situation. I was concerned about what was happening outside and I wasn't alone. So, I thought, maybe if we all came together, we could help each other get through it."

She further said that some were suffering from sleep disorders while some were worried about their future. There was a lot of negativity, but there were also people offering suggestions on how to combat it.

Kiara revealed that she has been trying her hands on sketching during her quarantine period. Not only this, but the actress has also been sharing a few throwback videos for fans on social media. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kiara has an interesting line-up of films coming up. Her horror drama with Akshay Kumar – ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ was to hit the screens during Eid, while she also has Vikram Batra biopic ‘Shershaah’ with rumored beau Sidharth Malhotra lined up for this year.
