KGF Actor Maran succumbs to Covid-19; Arya mourns

The South film industry has lost yet another talented actor to the deadly Covid-19. Tamil actor and stuntman, Maran, passed away due to Coronavirus at the age of 48. 

Two days ago, Maran was admitted to the Chengalpet Government hospital where was undergoing Covid treatment. He succumbed to the virus today morning. 

As per reports, his family and loved ones will not be able to meet him for the last time due to his Covid-19 diagnosis. His mortal remains will be cremated by the Corporation officials.

Maran’s demise comes as a blow to the Tamil film industry and actor Arya has mourned his loss in a heartfelt post. Sharing a picture of him, Arya wrote: “Heartfelt condolences to #Maran Anna’s family and friends. Can’t believe this. Will miss you anna #RIP”

Known for playing supporting roles in Tamil films, Maran was a part of films like Kuruvi and Ghilli. He received critical acclaim for his performance as an Adhivaasi in director Dharani's Ghilli. His other work includes Thalainagaram, Dishoom, Vettaikaran and KGF: Chapter 1.
