KBC 13: Amitabh Bachchan praises wife Jaya on video call; latter responds with quirky remark

Indian television is filled with some of the most iconic reality shows over the years and while many continue to be successful and come back with new seasons frequently - seldom has any show managed to create a legacy like that of Kaun Banega Crorepati.

The quiz show is currently airing its record 13th season and continues to achieve more and more milestones with every passing day. Superstar of the millennium Amitabh Bachchan has been synonymous with the show over the years and continues to be the same even today. Recently, the show achieved another benchmark of completing 1000 episode.

And considering it will be airing its 1000th episode, the makers decided to make it more special than ever. Bachchan's wife Jaya Bachchan is known to make almost no appearances whatsoever but the lady went on to make a special appearance on the 1000th episode through a video call. This was all the more special as Bachchan's daughter and granddaughter, Shweta Bachchan and Navya Naveli Nanda respectively were the ones who were on the hotseat.

This was a fun segment as a promo was released with the Bachchan clan having some fun. In the promo, the veteran female actor is seen complaining about Big B's habit of not receiving calls. Bachchan is quick to blame the poor internet connection for it. However, daughter Bachchan Nanda exposes him by saying that "Social media par photo lagayenge, tweet karenge" and this leaves him speechless.

If that's not all, Mr Bachchan faces another tough one from granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda who questions him, "Hum jab parlour se aate hain, aap humein jhooth bol rahe hote hain ke hum acche lag rahe hain... yaa hum sacchi acche lag rahe hote hain." (When we return from the parlour, do we really look nice or you cook things up).

Big B turns around Jaya Bachchan and praises her, "Jhooth bolte hue aap bilkul acche nahi lagte." Amitabh Bachchan gets stuck between the three ladies of the house and says, "Arre Yaar." while everyone else burst into laughter.

Recently, after shooting for the episode, Big B had posted a candid picture on his social media accounts wherein all three of them look smart in their formal attires.
