Katrina Kaif talks about going through a break up and dealing with exes!

Katrina Kaif is currently on cloud nine, owing to the success of Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat opposite Salman Khan. She played Kumud in the film and received appreciation for her performance. Besides her professional front, a lot has also been known and talked about the actress’s personal life.

Post her breakup with actor Ranbir Kapoor in 2016, Katrina was pretty vocal in the media about her feelings. During several media interactions, she spoke about relationships and her outlook towards them.

During a recent conversation with Bombay Times, Kat was asked about finding the right person in this industry after going through an emotional phase like a break-up. To which she said, "Not at all! We don’t need to give this any thought. I have no preconceived ideas and thoughts regarding relationships. I just know that it has to happen organically, and you need to follow what feels right to you."

The Bharat actress further added, "There’s nothing like it’s hard or easy. A relationship should feel right to you and you should take it one day at a time. To answer the other part of your question, I think every experience has only enriched me; I don’t think relationships can drain or empty you emotionally. Right now, I’m not even thinking of a relationship, we’ll cross the bridge when we get to it."

Kat also opened up on dealing with exes and how she feels about the same. She said, "I just don’t feel awkward and I don’t carry any heavy thoughts about it. As I said, all my experiences have only given me something. Also, why do we have to make everything so complex and heavy? It’s a personal thing and may not work for everyone, but if I had two options, I would always choose the simple one over the heavy and complex. Why would I want to feel awkward in anyone’s presence? I would rather smile, laugh, have a good chat and keep it easy, instead of keeping a sad face. Simple!"

On the work front, Katrina will be next seen opposite Akshay Kumar in Rohit Shetty’s action film Sooryavanshi. The film is slated to release on March 27, 2020.
