Just like Diwali, the festivity of Eid oozes with vibrance and ethnic elegance. And for our sartorially minded Bollywood citizens, it means an occasion to don their sparkliest and fanciest of ensembles. The ones overflowing with intricate embroidery and over-the-top grandeur. That said, if it is tinsel town’s most talked about Iftar bash, then one knows the kind of finery to expect. 

Here’s looking at what the B-town celebrates wore to Baba Siddiquie’s Iftar party, which was held last evening….

Katrina Kaif wore a classic Manish Malhotra ensemble, replete with intricate embroidery. To match the magnificence of the outfit, she chose a pair of ivory brocade jutties and a pearl embellished earring-and-necklace set. 

Mouni Roy spelt fancy in a floral embroidery emblazoned, flared white dress from the designer duo Sukirti And Akirti. To keep all eyes on the broad neckline of the dress, Mouni chose a neat hairstyle and minimal accessories.

Nushrat Bharucha brought some pink glamour to the night with this closed neck blush coloured suit, finished with a tie-dye dupatta. She kept her outfit fuss free with a side braid and minimal jewellery. Her makeup too was in perfect harmony with her outfit. 

The very ravishing Raveena was in every way stunning, as she donned a red brocade skirt clubbed with a kurti and dupatta. She kept her look full-on desi with a flower adorned lowdo and ruby encrusted jewellery to go with it. 

Black may not be the most preferred when it comes to festivities but Loveratri actress, Warina Hussain showed how bewitching it could be if accentuated with the right amount of embroidery. Warina styled her ethnic OOTN with long chaand-baalis and side swept loose curls. 

Salman Khan stayed true to his classic Sallu style as he showed up at the bash in a monotone outfit. His look for the night comprised of a ripped denim and black slim-fit shirt, accessorized with his staple silver bracelet.

Shah Rukh Khan aka King Khan chose to keep it traditional as he donned a midnight blue colour, silk kurta paired with white satin-silk bottoms. His look was rounded off with leather sandals and a leather strap watch.

A night of Iftar is incomplete without a Sharara style spotting. And Ankita Lokhande gave us the apt one as she sported an intricately embroidered sharara suit. Ankita accessorized it with long earrings and a messy hairdo.
