Katrina Kaif gets cutest ‘Papa Kaushal and Vihaan’ surprise on first Mother’s Day

Actor Katrina Kaif celebrated her first Mother’s Day this year after welcoming son Vihaan with husband Vicky Kaushal in November 2025. The actor shared glimpses from the special day on Instagram, including a handwritten note and flowers sent by her husband and son.

Katrina posted two pictures on social media that quickly drew attention from fans online. One of the photos featured a bouquet of pink roses placed beside a handwritten card. The note read, “Happy first Mother's Day my love! Love, Vihaan and Papa Kaushal!”

Another picture shared by the actor showed Katrina holding a children’s book while tiny fingers, believed to be baby Vihaan’s, were seen turning the pages. The book visible in the photograph was titled “The Very Hungry Caterpillar.”

The post quickly went viral across fan pages, with several users reacting to the family moment shared by the actor. Many fans also called the handwritten card one of the sweetest celebrity Mother’s Day gestures online this year.

Last week, Katrina and Vicky were also spotted together at the airport for the first time after becoming parents. The couple largely kept their personal life away from the public eye following the birth of their son.

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif got married in 2021 at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan in the presence of family members and close friends. The couple later announced the arrival of their son Vihaan in November 2025 through a joint social media post.

Sharing the news at the time, they had written, “Our ray of light, Vihaan Kaushal. Prayers are answered. Life is beautiful. Our world is changed in an instant.”

In a previous interview with GQ, Vicky had also spoken about fatherhood and called it the “biggest moment” of his life. The actor had said becoming a father turned out to be the most grounding experience he had ever felt personally and emotionally so far.
