Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal death threat: Accused Manvinder Singh sent to 2-day police custody

Since yesterday Bollywood actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are the talks of the town since yesterday after they allegedly received death threats via social media after which the Mumbai Police came to the rescue.

Reports from Ani stated that the Mumbai Police had even registered a case against that unidentified man and later the man who sent threats to the actors had been arrested. 

Now the latest reports revealed the identity of the man who sent death threats. The man is Manvinder Singh who is a struggling actor and was sent to Police custody till July 28 by a Mumbai court on Tuesday. According to reports from Etimes, he is a huge Katrina Kaif admirer. He reportedly intended to wed the actress and frequently shared faked images of Katrina online. 

According to reports, he has been harassing her on social media and following her for the last few months. Since then, he has started threatening the actress from Namastey London and her husband Vicky Kaushal with death.

The reports also stated that the Santacruz police filed an FIR under Indian Penal Code Sections 506-II (criminal intimidation) and 354-D (stalking) against the unnamed individual in response to the complaint. The official said that no arrests have been made as of yet. Singh was brought before a court in Bandra earlier today after being detained by the police in Malad the same day.

On the work front, Katrina Kaif will be seen next in Phone Bhoot alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter. She also has Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Tiger 3 alongside Salman Khan. While Vicky will be seen in a comedy with Manushi Chillar, Govinda Naam Mera, and Sam Bahadur.
