Kartik Aaryan roped in for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 but Akshay Kumar won't be a part of it

Kartik Aaryan is currently on cloud nine with back to back big projects falling under his kitty. The actor who is still backing in the glory of his last released Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is currently shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal sequel where he will be seen sharing screen space with one of his all time favorite actress Sara Ali Khan.

Post wrapping up Love Aaj Kal 2, Kartik will kick start shooting for his next big project, Pati Patni Aur Woh where he is paired opposite not just one but two actresses, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday. While the young heartthrob of B-town is yet to start shooting for his next film, he has already landed another big project.

As per a report in Pinkvilla, Kartik is cureently being considered for the sequel of Akshay Kumar's blockbuster film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Recently, the makers had announced the sequel to the movie with the script being written by Farhad Samji.

A close source has been quoted by the entertainment portal, “Kartik recently met up with the makers and has really liked the idea. If all goes well, the actor is all set to take the Bhool Bhulaiya franchise forward.”

If you remember, ahead of the release of his film Luka Chupi where he was seen alongside Kriti Sanon, Kartik featured in the remake version of Akshay’s famous song Poster Lagwa Doon for the movie. Looking att the kind of admiration he has for Akshay Kumar, it can be speculated that Kartik would do full justice to his role.

According to previous reports, Akshay Kumar who won our hearts with his stellar performance in Bhool Bhulaiyaa, won’t be a part of the sequel. Hence, it'll be interesting to see how Kartik adds his charm to the film.

Talking about Kartik's character in his upcoming films, for the Imtiaz Ali’s movie, the actor has sported different looks with his chemistry with Sara already become the talking point. On the other hand, for Pati Patni Aur Woh, Kartik will be seen sporting a rather simple character, as against his looks in other movies.
