Kartik Aaryan Reveals the reasons for being envious of Ranbir Kapoor!

Kartik Aaryan has grown strong ever since he made his Bollywood debut with Pyaar Pyaar Ka Punchnama back in 2011. The actor has struggled for three years until he could land onto a debut film and prove his capabilities with his performance. The 28-year-old actor has passed several hurdles that stood in his path towards success, however, he managed to pull off a few of the best films with his art. 

Kartik delivered hits like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Luka Chuppi and he has proved himself as one of the most bankable actors. However, the actor has revealed that he is envious of Ranbir Kapoor. 

The two somehow share similar footprints considering their careers and the trajectory of their career tangents has been tumultuous. 

During an interaction with Filmfare, the actor said: "We're all working in our own space and doing our kind of films. We all believe in hard work. That's the common point, which connects all of us. There's a huge difference in our journeys. We inspire each other to do better work. Ranbir Kapoor's one actor, whose body of work is amazing. I envy his choice of films.”

The drastic change in Kartik’s fan-following has been proof of his success. Although, fans have been left wondering about the secret to his success, and on what basis does Kartik chose his films!

The actor has finally revealed that he signs films on sheer gut feeling and does not bother asking suggestions from anyone. 

Kartik explained "I believe, as far as my film choices go, I am on the right track. Earlier, I never took advice from anybody when it came to signing a film and I am doing the same thing at this moment. I have been following my gut feeling and it's worked for me. I don't think much about it because it's an endless journey and you can't do everything at one time. I take all this with a positive frame of mind, so I don't feel any regret."

It’s evident how Kartik has focused on quality and not quantity. Narrating an episode from his life he claimed that a while back he was offered Rs 10 crore after the success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety to sign a film. Although he revealed how excellence has been his priority and not money. Without naming the film, he said he turned down the project because he did not identify with the role.

"I refused that film because I didn't like the subject. I think if I would have been part of it then it wouldn't have been a big hit. I never have regrets with my choices, be it films I did or the ones I refused," he said.

The actor will next be seen in Mudassar Aziz's Pati, Patni Aur Woh, Imtiaz Ali's untitled film and Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
