Kartik Aaryan Donates Rs. 1 Crore to PM-Cares Fund to Fight Coronavirus

The coronavirus pandemic has brought the entire nation to a standstill. Right from medical assistance to essential commodities,to financial crisis, many people are suffering. During these tough times, Bollywood celebrities are coming forward to do their bit and contribute in every way possible.

Actor Kartik Aaryan has pledged a sum of Rs 1 crore to the PM-CARES Fund to provide aid for the needy. He took to social media to share the same as he wrote, “We need each other now more than ever. Let’s show our support.”

His social media post read, “It is the absolute need of the hour to rise together as a nation. Whatever I am, whatever money I’ve earned, is only because of the people of India; and for us I am contributing Rs. 1 crore to the PM-CARES Fund. I URGE all my fellow Indians also to help as much as possible.”

Kartik has joined the league of many celebrities donating graciously during this tough time that the nation is facing. Akshay Kumar donated a whopping amount of Rs 25 crore towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s PM-CARES fund to help the government in its fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

“This is that time when all that matters is the lives of our people. And we need to do anything and everything it takes. I pledge to contribute Rs 25 crores from my savings to @narendramodi ji’s PM-CARES Fund. Let’s save lives, Jaan hai toh jahaan hai”, Akshay wrote in a tweet.

Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma, Akshay Kumar, Kapil Sharma, Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar, Ayushmann Khurrana, Guru Randhawa and T-Series owner Bhushan Kumar have stepped forward to donate to the relief fund.
