Kareena Kapoor Khan's OTT debut film alongside Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma to go on floors next week

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was last seen in the 2019 film Good Newwz, piqued the interest of her fans when she revealed her OTT debut in March with Sujoy Ghosh's next. The actress previously confirmed that she will be collaborating on the untitled project alongside Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma. 

According to a new update, the Sujoy Ghosh-directed film will begin shooting next week, with the first session taking place in Darjeeling, followed by a calendar in Mumbai by the end of May. According to recent reports, it's a two-week schedule in the hill area that will see Kareena, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Vijay Varma film major scenes. Meanwhile, in Mehboob studio, a member of the production design team will build a set. 

The Mumbai leg will begin around the end of May, with Sujoy expecting to complete a portion of the film before the rains arrive. Although no formal statement has been made in this respect, this piece of news is sure to delight enthusiasts. To be clear, the untitled film is supposed to be an adaptation of Japanese novelist Keigo Higashino's novel The Devotion of Suspect X, and it will purportedly debut on Netflix next year. 

Meanwhile, Kareena is anticipating the release of Laal Singh Chaddha, in which she will star alongside Aamir Khan. After 3 Idiots and Talaash, Kareena's third collaboration with Aamir will be a remake of the Hollywood classic, Forrest Gump. Laal Singh Chaddha, directed by Advait Chandan, is set to hit theatres on August 11.
