Kareena Kapoor Khan to start shooting for Angrezi Medium from May 15

There was a lot of buzz when Irrfan Khan returned to India after his cancer treatment and started shooting for his upcoming movie Angrezi Medium. While fans were eager to watch the star again on the big screen, Kareena Kapoor Khan being a part of the film added to the excitement and hype amongst the audiences.

Currently, the cast and crew of Angrezi Medium are shooting in Udaipur, and after wrapping up the first schedule, the team will shoot in Mumbai and that is when Bebo will join the team. According to reports, Kareena will join the team in Mumbai from May 15. 

“Kareena has started prep for Angrezi Medium. Since she’s playing a cop for the first time, she’s been discussing her character with director Homi Adajania. 

"She will shoot in Mumbai for around a week before the team flies to London in June where a big chunk will be shot. She is not romantically paired with Irrfan but has an important role in the narrative,” as quoted by Mirror. 

Although Kareena has a small role in the film, but she is super excited to shoot with Irrfan as she said in an interview that it is going to be a surreal experience and with Angrezi Medium, Kareena will share screen space with Irrfan for the first time and also it will be for the first time that Bebo will play the role of a cop.

Angrezi Medium is Irrfan’s first film after completing his treatment of neuroendocrine tumor. After returning from his treatment, Irrfan penned a heart-warming note for his fans, as he wrote, “Maybe somewhere in the pursuit of winning we forget how much it means to be loved... In our vulnerability we are reminded... I want to pause to be grateful for receiving your immense love and support... I travel back to you, thanking you from the bottom of my heart.” 

In the film, Irrfan will essay the role of Champak and Radhika Madan will be playing the role of his daughter and Radhika has wrapped up her Udaipur schedule.
