Kareena calls Rishi Kapoor 'Irreplaceable’,Daughter Riddhima shares ‘Beautiful Memories’ with Dad in Latest Post

Bollywood's precious gem Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, Thursday morning. He was battling with cancer for the last two years and finally gave up. He was admitted to Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai after complaints of breathing problems.

Rishi’s unfortunate demise is a great loss to his family, friends and fans. Right from his closest co-stars to the ones who did not have the privilege to know him personally, each and every actor from the fraternity felt a big blow and poured in their heartfelt condolences to the actors' family.

The Bobby actor’s family is cherishing the beautiful memories spent with him. Rishi’s wife Neetu Kapoor had recently posted a picture of him and penned an endearing note as “End of our story" alongside the picture.

Kareena Kapoor Khan has stood strong by the Kapoor family in these tough times. She was present at Rishi Kapoor’s funeral and later visited Ranbir Kapoor, aunt Neetu after the late actors’ ashes were immersed in Mumbai’s Banganga tank.

In a heartfelt post, Bebo shared a throwback picture of Chintu Ji along with her parents -- Randhir Kapoor and Babita and music composer RD?Burman. She captioned the post as “Irreplaceable.”

Earlier, she had posted a picture of Rishi and her late father-in-law Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi and written: “Two Tigers”. In another post, she had written: “The best boys I know... Papa and Chintu uncle.”

Besides Kareena, Rishi’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor has been sharing throwback pictures of her late father on social media. In a recent post, Riddhima shared pictures of the family from the New Years Eve of 2010. Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “Beautiful memories New Years eve 2010 - Just before Samara was born.”

Riddhima’s husband, Bharat Sahni, shared some more pictures and wrote on Instagram, “Beautiful memories #2010 #newyearseve Just before Samara was born!”

Earlier, Riddhima shared a picture of Rishi with his mother Krishna Raj and captioned it, “Reunited with his most favourite person”. 

Rishi Kapoor’s last rites were performed on April 30, Thursday afternoon at the Chandanwadi crematorium. While the funeral was attended by Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Neetu, his brother Randhir Kapoor, niece Kareena Kapoor and her husband Saif Ali Khan, and actor Abhishek Bachchan, Riddhima could not attend her father’s funeral as she was stuck in Delhi due to the lockdown.

Riddhima had posted a picture with dad Kapoor and penned: "Papa I love you I will always love you - RIP my strongest warrior I will miss you everyday I will miss your FaceTime calls everyday! I wish I could be there to say goodbye to you ! Until we meet again papa I love you - your Mushk forever.”

Riddhima travelled by road and arrived in Mumbai on May 2. She accompanied her mother Neetu and brother Rishi Kapoor to Banganga tank, where Rishi Kapoor’s ashes were immersed.
