Karan Wahi: Digital Platforms Give You More Time To Prepare For Your Character

Karan Wahi was currently seen in Hotstar Specials Hundred sharing screen space with Bollywood actress Lara Dutta and Sairat fame Rinku Rajguru. The actor spoke to us about his character in Hundred, his routine these days, and a lot more.

Speaking to us about his character in Hundred, Karan said, “What is a character? A character will become the way you want it to be. You need to be convinced yourself when it comes to the character you are playing on the screen.” We went on to ask the actors if digital platforms give you a chance to play different characters to which he said, “Well, television gives you less amount of time to prep for your character while digital has a time limit when it comes to shooting. We work for five days a week on TV, on the other hand, Hundred was shot in 100 days.”

He further spoke about his co-stars, Lara Dutta and Rinku Rajguru, Karan said, “Lara has this aura that makes her Saumya Shukla. Speaking about Rinku I would like to say she is a huge bundle of talent. God does not make that kind of people anymore.”

We went to ask the actor about his experience in a reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi to which he said, “KKK has been one of my best experiences till date. You come home every day learning something new. I am no more scared of dogs owing to Khatron Ke Khiladi (laughs).”

The Hundred actor was all smiles when we complimented him about his super-cute girlfriend Uditi and how good they look together. We asked the actor how is dealing with a long-distance relationship to which he said,” I am used to this. This is my third time now.”
