Karan Kundrra Roped in For ALT Balaji's 'It Happened in Calcutta'

We had exclusively reported about ALT Balaji coming up with a new series titled 'It Happened in Calcutta'. The series will be a love story and will revolve around a girl studying in a medical college and how she falls in love with a flamboyant and good-looking boy.

After making certain path-breaking series for the audience, ALT Balaji's latest offering looks super-promising. About the series, though Karan Kundrra has been locked in to play the male lead, the makers are still searching for the female lead. We had reported about how more than three hundred girls auditioned for the role. 

We would also like to inform you that a two and a half year worth groundwork and research was done for the show.
