Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani' heads to Busan Film Festival
Karan Johar took to his social media account as she announced 'RRKPK's selection at the Busan Film Festival.

Filmmaker Karan Johar, is riding high on the resounding success of his latest romantic drama, "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani." This film marked his return to the director's chair after a gap of seven years with his 25th anniversary as a director in the industry. Upon release, the film garnered praise from critics and achieved remarkable box-office results.
Adding to the film's accolades, it has now been selected for the prestigious Busan International Film Festival, where it will be featured in the Open Cinema Section.

The Busan Film Festival is scheduled to take place from October 4th to 13th this year. He wrote, "feeling absolutely blessed & grateful#RockyAurRaniKiPremKahaani goes to Busan film fest."
For the unversed, 'RRKPK' tells the tale of Rani, portrayed by Alia Bhatt, a Bengali journalist, and Rocky Randhawa, played by Ranveer Singh, a wealthy Punjabi from a different background. The two characters fall in love, but they anticipate family opposition. To address this, they make the decision to spend time with each other's families before their marriage.

Looking ahead, Karan Johar has an exciting lineup of projects, including "Yodha" starring Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani, "Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam" featuring Vicky Kaushal, and "Mr. & Mrs. Mahi" with Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor. Additionally, KJo has hinted at stepping into the director's chair for a full-fledged action film in the near future.
