Karan Johar wishes Zoya Akhtar on her 50th birthday, says, 'My childhood would have been incomplete..'

Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar is celebrating her 50th birthday today. Zoya debuted as a director with Luck By Chance and has given numerous hits after that with films like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Gully Boy, Lust Stories and more. She is now gearing up for her upcoming film Archies.

Since morning the B-town has been pouring in adorable wishes for the director and now her dear friend Karan Johar has penned a lovely note for her.

Kjo took to his social media account and wrote, 

"I have known you all my life and truly loved you ever since... You are my favourite filmmaker ( and my most favourite fashion critic) and many a time I feel like I only need your advice on so many things ... love you so much ZO! Happy happy 50 my childhood would have been incomplete without you... AQM @zoieakhtar"

Karan shared a monochromatic picture with the birthday girl from a hotel lobby where both the filmmakers are at their stylist best.

On the work front, Zoya is currently working on The Archies. The live-action musical film adaptation stars Khushi Kapoor, Aryan Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda in lead roles.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Karan Johar is returning as a director with his next film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh.
