Karan Johar Turns 48: Kareena Shares Unseen Picture, Alia Calls him Father; B Town Pours Birthday Wishes

The Dharma Productions head honcho and Bollywood’s favourite personality, Karan Johar turns 48 today. As KJo celebrates his special day today, his friends and loved ones from the industry have poured in their heartfelt wishes for the birthday boy.

Karan is rightly called Bollywood’s main man and has the latest updates and gossip about who’s dating who in the industry. He shares a good rapport with most of the actors and is also the ‘godman’ for many, including Alia Bhatt, Ananya Panday among others. His movies have entertained the audience for the longest time and he has no plans to stop as well.

KJo’s partner in crime, Kareena Kapoor Khan shared an unseen picture from the past and wished him as she wrote: "Gosh we were so sexy then and now even more... To Forever, my friend... Happy birthday” 

Alia Bhatt, who made her Bollywood debut with Karan’s Student of the Year penned a sweet note on his birthday that read: “happy birthday my friend, father.. my family ?? here’s to many many many more moments of love, laughs, movies and our uncontrollable need to pose for pictures and selfies”

Anushka Sharma gave a special mention to KJo’s pout as she wished him on his birthday: “Happy happyyyy happiest to you and your pout. Hope you both enjoy each other’s company in good health, love and happiness always.”

Sharing a lovely picture, Karan’s BFF Kajol wrote: “Happy birthday @karanjohar. Wishing u a hugely virtually populated birthday. Since unpopulated is the trend currently.”

Ananya Panday, who made her debut with Karan’s Student of the Year 2 last year wrote alongside a twinning picture, “Happy birthday To the best of the best @karanjohar. Love you loads."

Karan's dear friend and celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra penned a heartfelt note and shared some lovely pictures on his birthday:
