As the cyclonic storm, Amphan has managed to create havoc in Kolkata and Odisha, and everyone has been praying for the people affected by the same.

Stay safe Bengal...All of us pray for your safety and protection.... #CyclonAmphan.” Talking about the year 2020, Karan asked if the year could get any worse with cyclone approaching India’s eastern coastline amidst the pandemic situation in the country.

Shoojit, who is currently in Kolkata, took to Twitter and said that he had never experienced this kind of chilling and devastating winds.

"Bengal will need a lot of support to get out of this devastation. Uprooted trees and toppled homes of poor... It may take years to get to normal in some areas," the filmmaker posted.
