Karan coming up with Dostana Sequel but without the ORIGINAL cast

Priyanka Chopra - John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan starrer 'Dostana' a romantic - comedy remains one of the best content-driven films in the last 10 years. This film remains a cult and had a decent success at the box office as well.

Lately, reports of a sequel of this 2008 released film were doing rounds and now Karan Johar is indeed working on this project. A source informed Mumbai Mirror, "The script is currently being developed and should be locked by the end of the month. The film is expected to go on the floors early next year".

Revealing about the cast, the source added, "Karan wants to cast two new actors in the film. There will be a girl to complete the triangle and she will be a Bollywood A-lister but it won't be Priyanka Chopra reprising her role".

Reports also revealed that the sequel was initially shelved by Karan Johar because he wasn't too excited about the script, but he's now reportedly given a go-ahead to the project.
