Kangana's sister Rangoli Attacks Karan Johar’s Takht: He will depict Aurangzeb's cruelty through Sexual Relationships and Abs

Actress Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel, also known as the Controversy Sisters, never miss a chance to call out the Bollywood stars and often point out the double standards and hypocrisy in the industry. 

As we know, filmmaker Karan Johar and the Ranaut sisters are often involved in several long-standing disputes. This time Rangoli has yet again targeted KJo and slammed him over Twitter. She has taken a harsh jibe at his magnum opus Takht and stated that the filmmaker will alter the historical facts with his touch of drama in the period film.

Rangoli is an avid social media user and never shields away from expressing her bold opinions on the microblogging site. This time, while talking to a few users over calling Rama from the epic Ramayana a myth, she did not miss the opportunity to take a dig at Karan Johar’s period drama film, Takht, based in Mughal era, showcasing the story of Shah Jahan's son Aurangzeb and Dara Shikoh.

Slamming KJo, Rangoli wrote, "And now not surprisingly our dear Karan Johar is making a film on this cruel bloodline, he will depict Aurangzeb cruelty through his abs and sexual relationships." She further went on to suggest that authorities must ask for scripts first before the filmmakers could start working on it. "These dumb filmmakers need to be stopped from the sexual depiction of historic characters, before they start their crying drama and claim that democracy is dead and bring international shame to the nation, I request authorities to ask them to submit their scripts.”

Well, talking of Takht, Karan announced the ensemble cast of his supremely ambitious project Takht over a year back. The magnum opus project stars actors such as Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor. The so big so good star cast raised the bar for the audience, who have been eagerly waiting for any further development regarding the larger than life film.

A report in the Times of India had revealed the characters played by each of the ensemble star cast. Reportedly, Ranveer will be essaying the role of Dara Shikoh, the eldest son of Shahjahan, while Vicky will be stepping into the shoes of his younger brother Aurangzeb. Kareena will be seen playing Shahjahan's daughter Jahanara Begum. 

Alia will reportedly play Ranveer's wife Begum Nadira Banu in the film, while the role of Aurangzeb’s wife Dilras Banu Begum will reportedly be played by Bhumi Pednekar. And finally, Janhvi Kapoor is expected to be seen as a slave girl in the epic.

The film is yet to have a fixed release date but is slated to hit the screens in 2020.
