Kangana Slams Saif's Claim of 'No Concept of India Before British' Statement

Saif Ali Khan's take and comments of India not having a history before the British arrived and how the latter gave India their history has sparked a lot of outrage not only on social media but seemingly with a set of celebrities too.

While some celebrities shared their disapproval on social media, Kangana Ranaut, who is known to speak her mind and not mince her words also expressed her take on the same recently in a media interaction while she was promoting her upcoming film, Panga.

Ranaut said that if according to Saif there was no 'Bharat' before then what was 'Mahabharat' and what did Ved Vyasa write? She further added how it is true that many have shared the narrative of Mahabharat according to how it suits them over the years but one thing was certain that Lord Krishna was in Mahabharat this indicating that there was Bharat previously too.

Ranaut mentioned how all the great kings fought battles and there was a collective identity called 'Bharat.'

It seems Ranaut is also not too impressed with Saif's comments.
