Kangana Ranaut takes a dig at Karan Johar's film 'Selfiee'
Kangana Ranaut took to her social media account and slammed the poor box office performance of Selfiee.

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, has always been upfront about her opinions. Apart from social, current issues, the actress also talks her thoughts on box office results. Well now Selfiee, starring Emraan Hashmi and Akshay Kumar, has suddenly caught Kangana's attention. The Manikarnika actress wrote about the movie's below-average performance on the box office. She also referred to the movie as "Karan Johar's Selfiee," bringing up her adversary and the movie's co-producer.
Kangana took to her Instagram stories and compared Selfiee's first day box office collection to her last theatrical release, and wrote, "Karan Johar movie Selfiee has hardly made 10 lakhs on the first day I don't see even one trade or media person talk about it forget mocking or bullying him the way they harass me…"
For the unversed Kangana and Karan's argument began when she infamously referred to him as "the flag-bearer of nepotism" on his chat show, Koffee with Karan.
Talking about the film, 'Selfiee' had a horrible opening day gross of roughly Rs 3 crore, which marks Akshay's worst box office performance in more than a decade. In 2022, Akshay had four consecutive box office disappointments.

The movie is an official Hindi adaptation of Malayalam superhit Driving License starring Prithviraj and Suraj Venjaramoodu. Selfiee also stars Nushratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty. It is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Production alone with Magic Frames, Prithviraj Produtions and Akshay's Cape of Good Films and Star Studios.
