Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a clip from the hit 1990s film Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. The song Didi Tera Devar, featured Madhuri Dixit and Salman Khan was there in the video.
Kangana captioned the video on her Instagram Stories, "Aah! "Vintage Bollywood," she wrote, adding a slew of heart emojis. Salman and Madhuri are seen dancing to the hit song in the video.
Hum Aapke Hain Kaun is widely regarded as one of the most successful Bollywood films of all time. It was directed by Sooraj Bharjatya and was released in 1994.
It was a modern remake of Rajshri Productions' 1982 blockbuster Nadiya Ke Paar, which was based on Keshav Prasad Mishra's novel Kohbar Ki Shart, which featured Renuka Shahane and Mohnish Behl.
Madhuri had praised Kangana as a talented actress last year. "Kangana is a fantastic actress." "She can put herself in any role and get into the skin of the character," she said in an interview with India Today.
Kangana, on the other hand, has previously in an interview stated that she refused to work with Salman Khan in his film Sultan. "Knowing today’s time, I’ll go for something which will stimulate my mind, otherwise, I’ll be just sleepwalking through the film. Sultan, at that point of time, though it was a great character for a girl to play, I didn’t see anything for me in that," she told PTI. "Coming from a double role space and doing so much more in my earlier films, I didn’t want to demote myself to something which wasn’t offering me so much. That’s why I didn’t do it,” she explained.
Talking about work, the actress was seen recently in the film Thalaivii, in which she portrayed late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. The film was initially released in theatres before being made available on Netflix. Dhakad, Tejas, and Ayodhya are some of her upcoming films.
