Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar's cold war begin as the actress spoke in length about nepotism and awarded Karan Johar as the flag bearer of it at the Koffee with Karan season 5 where Kangana graced the couch and was very upfront about every single thing she spoke.

However, looks like Kangna has now moved on from her past.

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, the actress was quoted as saying 'there are people who live on their face value. Like Karan Johar, I really like him, he is in your face whatever he is.'

The statement came as a surprise to many as Kangana has always spoken about nepotism and has never shied away from blaming the industry for cornering her.

After expressing her thoughts about her feeling for Karan, Kangana also added that she feels there are people in the industry who boast about women empowerment, and they are the same people who have not watched her latest release Manikarnika.

She said 'but what are these people who use you for situations and then, later on, butter both sides of the toast. I had expectations of a few people and this film is not only about women empowerment, but it's also beyond that.' Talking about how the nepotism has really hit the core of the industry. She quotes,'This kind of ganging up, what it shows is it's the really cruel face of them which I can't defend.' She hilariously quotes, 'Itihaas tumhe maaf nahi karega'.
