Kangana Ranaut rages over Rihanna over farmers’ protest tweet: They are terrorists; Sit down you fool

India continues to witness protests from farmers and activists against the Centre's new but controversial farm laws. Several Bollywood celebrities have extended support to the farmers and spoke about their concerns. While the protests have also grabbed the international headlines, many staunch public figures like Rihanna, Amanda Cerny and Greta Thunberg recently came out in support of the farmers.

As the International pop icon, Rihanna supported the farmers’ protest in India, actress Kangana Ranaut raged out at the nine-time Grammy Award-winner and called her a ‘fool’. 

Taking to her Twitter handle Kangana wrote, “No one is talking about it because they are not farmers they are terrorists who are trying to divide India, so that China can take over our vulnerable broken nation and make it a Chinese colony much like USA... Sit down you fool, we are not selling our nation like you dummies.”

The entire Twitter community was surprised by Rihanna’s tweet and the social activist Greta Thunberg again expressed "solidarity" with the protests. The international figures were lauded by the host of celebrities including Richa Chadha, filmmaker Hansal Mehta, You Tuber Lilly Singh, Diljit Dosanjh.
