Kangana Ranaut confesses, “Yes, it is about Sushant, but it is also about My Life” as she raises voice to attain justice for the late actor!

Kangana Ranaut has been making it to the headlines for quite some time and the actress has actively raised her voice to attain justice for Sushant Singh Rajput post his sad demise. However, it has also divided Twitteraties' opinions. While the actress has received support from fans, some have called her out for being an opportunist.

During a recent interaction with Times of India, Kangana spoke about her stand on her for Sushant Singh Rajput’s death and why she is so vocal about seeking justice for the late actor. 

She explained, “I turned to understand what happened – and that was when I realized my perceptions were also wrong, what he had actually gone through, and I was overcome with guilt and shame.”

Kangana was recently accused of using Sushant to fight her personal battles and target people in the industry. The Queen actress responded saying, “Someone like me, who has said no to Yash Raj Films, to Khans' films, to Bhansali films, to big brands that have fairness attached to them – I could have done a lot for promotions. An actor gets more noticed for wearing a fancy dress than for acting in a film. The kind of media culture that we have here and internationally, it is influenced by the Kardashians.”

She went on to explain her goodwill and how you don’t need somebody’s death for promotion. She said, “You don’t need somebody’s death to promote yourself. People can just do a TikTok video and have 10M followers. I can do Instagram or Twitter if I want to. I can do so much to promote myself.”

“About taking revenge from my enemies – I have always been vocal about that from Day One. I don't need to ride on someone's shoulders to take revenge,” added Kangana.

She further made a close connection with Sushant and how does not plan on backing out from the cause. Kangana revealed how people still gang up on her and said, “Nobody has the right to tell me that you stop talking about your enemies because we will only talk about Sushant. Yes, it is about Sushant, but it is also about my life because these people are still ganging up on me. I will talk about my enemies because maybe, we have lost Sushant, but there is still hope for my life. I WILL talk about it! You can’t tell me that now you shut up because you are still alive.”

“So for people to say that I am taking revenge from my enemies, of course, I am! Is there any doubt about it? One does not have to be a genius to figure that out. I want to live, I want to survive, I want to make it big. I won’t let people trap me, ruin me. I will do everything to fight them. So I think it is a very lame argument to say that you should not be talking about your enemies,” she added.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s sad demise sent shockwaves across the nation and fans, several other celebrities and even politicians have raised their voice in order to attain justice for the late actor. Meanwhile, there has been a massive uprising on social media, fans and netizens are seeking answers as to what was the real reason behind his death.

While some claimed foul play in Sushant’s demise, many actors and filmmakers have urged for a CBI probe. Meanwhile, the police investigation is underway and Mumbai Police has recorded statements of 36 people linked to the late actor.

On the work front, Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film - Dil Bechara will release digitally on July 24, 2020.
