Rarely a day goes by where Kangana Ranaut isn't a part of the news wagon, where at times, it is for the right reasons and at times for the wrong reasons. Today is a day that falls into the category of being right, and in fact, a historic one.
Ranaut's directorial debut, Manikarnika - The Queen of Jhansi is now all set to the markets of Japan and will be releasing on 3rd January 2020. Even though there have been several films that have had releases in China and Japan on multiple instances and even done wonders - there is, however, a reason that this film has made history.
With Manikarnika getting a Japan release, it makes Ranaut the first Indian female director to have a release in Japan. Yes! That's right. As you would remember, Ranaut apparently took the directorial charge of the film mid-way after director Krish had left the project.
We wish Ranaut and the team of the film loads of congratulations.
