Kangana Ranaut accuses Karan Johar of bullying her, says, "Aage aage dekho hota hai kya"

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar's tiff revolves around allegations of nepotism and career sabotage in the Hindi film industry. Karan Johar has been accused of damaging the careers of two leading actresses, Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma favoring celebrity kids. In response to these allegations recently, Karan Johar shared a cryptic post in which he stated that he is not going to surrender to false allegations against him.

Kangana Ranaut, who has been vocal about the issue of nepotism in the Hindi film industry, responded to Karan Johar's post by accusing him of insulting her on national television in the past. She stated that Karan Johar used to bully and insult her on national television because she couldn't speak English. The Manikarnika actress also took a jibe at Karan's Hindi speaking skills and stated that she will wait and watch what happens in the future.

Taking to her Instagram story, Kangana wrote, “Ek waqt tha jab Chacha Chaudhary elite nepo mafia walon ke saath national television pe mujhe insult and bully karta tha because I couldn’t speak English. Aaj inki Hindi dekh kar khayal aaya, abhi toh sirf tumhari Hindi sudhari hai aage aage dekho hota hai kya." (There was a time when Chacha Chaudhary (comic character) elite nepotism mafia bullied and insulted me on national television because I couldn't speak English. Today when I read their Hindi I thought that only your Hindi has improved for now wait and watch what happens next)

For the unversed, the controversy surrounding Karan Johar escalated when an old video of him went viral in which he stated that he wanted to murder Anushka Sharma's career by advising Aditya Chopra not to cast her in the film. Karan went on to explain that he was proven wrong when he saw her work in Band Bajaa Baraat and felt embarrassed that he would have wrecked the career of such a talented actress as Anushka.

Talking about her work front, Ranaut will next portray an Indian Air Force pilot in Sarvesh Mewara's Tejas, Indira Gandhi in her second directorial project, Emergency, about the 1977 Indian Emergency. And will also star in a sequel to the 2005 Tamil film Chandramukhi. She will also produce the black comedy film Tiku Weds Sheru, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur.
