Kangana puts an end to her Bad Blood with Karan Johar and his Nepotism!

Kangana Ranaut is riding high on success with the release of Panga. The actress who was majorly known for her performance in parallel cinema has always attracted the audience with the selection of her unconventional film choices. Kangana has kickstarted 2020 with a high note as she was conferred with the 4th highest civilian honor in the country, Padma Shri on Republic Day 2020.

Several other stars from the showbiz were awarded with the same which included awardees like Producer-Director Karan Johar along with Ekta Kapoor, Adnan Sami and many more. 

Often we have seen Kangana speaking up against Johar and some of his dear friends/acquaintances. Now, it seems the 32-years-old actress is ready to end her bad blood with her adversaries.

The Panga actress extended a friendly hand as she said: "I heartily congratulate him.”

In a recent interview with India Today Kangana said:

I heartily congratulate him. I think he totally deserves this award. As a producer, the kind of films he backs, whether it is Kesari or Good Newwz, are commendable, as is the position he has worked to achieve. Even though his father gave him a head start, he has risen to the top because of his own efforts and merits.

I started my journey from a small village in Himachal Pradesh, and for me to be in the same league as these bigwigs we have grown up watching, whether it is Karan’s films or Ekta Kapoor’s serials... We knew these people, growing up. And who has not heard Adnan Sami ji’s songs? For a girl like me, to get a Padma Shri alongside them is a matter of pride.

So far, Ranaut has received three National Awards and after being conferred with the Padma Shri award, she said that it was the most special honor for her. The actress further added that she has always been honored as an artist. But this was the first time she has been recognized as a citizen and for her awareness of the country. 

She further added, “This is also special for my family because they feel that I am always targeted in the film industry, slapped with legal cases and involved in fights. My family is extremely happy."
