Kangana Hits Back Citing Law at BMC & Maharashtra Govt.

Kangana Ranaut has now backfired at the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and the Maharashtra government, after the BMC asked the Supreme Court to rule out her plea asking for remuneration of the demolition of her office which according to the BMC has been illegally constructed.

Sharing the sections from the law and calling BMC, Maharashtra government's pet, Kangana wrote on her social media,

Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai v/s M/s Sunbeam High Tech 2019 AIR (SC) 5435 2020 (1) AllMR(S( Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act , 1888, Section 351 — Municipal Laws — Demolition of Structures —Demolition of building structure can be done only after giving 15 days notice to affected person —If Municipal Corporation violates procedure while demolishing building but structure is totally illegal, some compensation can be awarded and in all cases where such compensation is awarded the same should invariably be recovered from officers who have acted in violation of law.
