Kamalika Guha Thakurta Miffed With Being Mistakenly Referred As Prosenjit's Ex-Wife

Tales of mistaken identities in the entertainment industry is certainly not novel in its manner where the most obvious example of the same can be about the barrage of Karans that are a part of the industry. And while having a common name is indeed 'common', having the same surname is yet another dilemma to deal with.

Not entirely similar but an instance of the same manner has now occurred with actor Kamalika Guha Thakurta, who we best know for playing the role of Gayatri in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

Guha Thakurta has been poured in with many calls and messages asking her about Bengali superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee. It so happened that Chatterjee was in news recently when a portal published about his extramarital relationships. The actor is currently married to Arpita who is his third wife and there has been a buzz about problems in their relationship.

However, it is Guha Thakurta, who is irked with the fact that many websites have used her pictures referring to her as Chatterjee's second wife, Aparna Guhathakurta, which she is obviously isn't.

In an interview with Bombay Times, Guha Thakurta said, “For a while now, friends and well-wishers have been sending me links and screenshots of such reports. I chose to ignore the reports initially, but now, I have realized that people who don’t know me personally are believing this to be true. I have worked hard to build a reputation for myself and I don’t want my name getting maligned.”

The actor herself is married to producer Rajnish Lall and has two daughters.
