Kalki Koechlin shares a picture from her Waterbirth; Says "For me it was by far the hardest part!"

Kalki Koechlin recently embraced motherhood as she shared the first picture of her baby Sappho who was born on February 7, 2020. After the birth of her baby girl, Kalki has been in a very special phase of her life and she definitely can’t stop gushing. 

Earlier, the actress had revealed that she would opt for Waterbirth which is considered as one of the most natural processes of childbirth. Now, she took to her Instagram handle and shared a glimpse of her going into labor with the help of ‘Doula’.

Sharing the picture, she took a moment to thank ‘Doula’ which literally means 'a woman's maid' and how it is a support system of women for women during the process of pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care.

The picture featured Kalki in her transitional phase of labor, and her Doula guiding her with strong hands and steady voice. 

Previously, Kalki had also shared a picture of her and baby Sappho’s footprint, as she announced her name on her Instagram handle. She also shared the first picture of her baby girl as she posed with boyfriend Guy Hershberg and the team of her doctors.
