Saif Ali Khan made headlines for his remarks over his film, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, also starring Ajay Devgn and Kajol.
Based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, Om Raut’s historical period drama did exceptionally well at the box office and also crossed the Rs 300 crore mark on the box office. While the film has been a massive box office hit, Saif’s ‘no concept of India before the British’ remark had created quite a stir amongst people on social media. In a chat with Film Companion, the actor also said that he found the film’s historical inaccuracy to be ‘dangerous’.
Owing to his remarks, there were rumours of Ajay Devgn and Kajol miffed with Saif. However, recently, during the trailer launch of Sooryavanshi, Ajay had rubbished all such rumours and stated that “Pata nahi aapko kahase aise news aati hai, aisa kuch nahi hai. (I don't know from where do you get such news, there's nothing like this.)”
And now, Kajol too has cleared the air over reports of a rift with Saif Ali Khan. As per Times of India, the Devi actress clarified that she is not upset with Saif for his comments, and said that she thinks the actor has a great sense of humour. She also stated that actors are supposed to pick and choose what they want to hear out of that.
Well, that clears the air and puts all the rumours to rest.

I don't think there is really any constructive point in arguing about loudly, provided you yourself know why you're doing it."
