Kajal Aggarwal’s Fan Paid 60 Lakhs to meet her, got Cheated by a Fraud!

Celebrities enjoy a lot of love and attention from their fans in India. Being a public figure, the stars have the pleasure of an immense fan following from their audiences. Apart from Bollywood celebs, the actors from the South industry also enjoy a huge fan base and their fans can go to unimaginable extents to have a glimpse of them. However, such blind madness to meet your favourite stars can sometimes land you in trouble. One such incident occurred to an ardent fan of popular South actress Kajal Agarwal!

A die-hard fan of Kajal from Ramanathapuram in Tamil Nadu had a strong desire to meet the actress which eventually led him to online fraud, reported DNA. The man initially paid Rs 50,000 to the online fraudsters, who were operating a webpage that promised to help the fans meet the actress. The man even shared his personal details with the hoax website.

Furthermore, the fan shelled out a total of Rs 60 Lakhs in three instalments in the hope to meet the Singham actress. However, the online frauds kept looting him without giving him any details on when and where they'd set up his meeting with the actress. After several money transactions, when there was no sign of any meeting happening with the actress, the fan realized that he's been cheated on!

The frauds continued to ask him for more money and when he refused to pay any more money, they started threatening him of sharing his obscene pictures on social media. 

The fan was so disturbed with the entire mishap that had occurred to him that he left his house and was later found in Kolkata by the police. During the inquiry, he opened up about the incident and named a producer called Sravanakumar, who has now been arrested in the fraud case on the basis of the fan’s complaint.

Kajal Aggarwal is a popular name from the South industry. Recently, the actress celebrated 10 years of her hit Telugu film Magadheera. She has done a few Bollywood films as well like Singham, Special 26 among others. There were reports of Kajal being roped in for Indian 2 but according to rumours, she will no longer be a part of the film.
