John Abraham on how doctors wanted to amputate his leg after his injury during 'Force 2'

Actor John Abraham has just had a release in the form of Attack Part 1 and he has constantly busy with promoting the film giving multiple interviews. As we know, Abraham has been an action star in multiple films and tends to do the majority of action stunts by himself.

But a while ago, while shooting for Force 2, that landed him in trouble. Talking about it with ETimes, Abraham said, “Some stunts are very deadly. I remember during ‘Force 2’ I smashed my knee and I had to get three surgeries. I had gangrene in my right leg and the doctors wanted to amputate my leg. I said, ‘No, you can't do that’. But thanks to my surgeon in Bombay, Dr Rajesh Maniar; he saved my knee.”

He continued the story as he mentioned how this was seven years ago and it is now thankfully gone. He mentioned that he is walking today, squatting today and is more flexible and faster than ever and he loves doing action. But he also mentioned that action heroes should know where to draw the line. He said “You need to be careful. You can't have a false sense of bravado to prove to five people on a set that you can jump from here to there. At times you get hurt and then you become a little more cognizant about the dangers.”

Apart from Attack Part 1, Abraham will be seen in films like Ek Villain Returns and Pathan.
