John Abraham HATES the 'CELEBRITY LIFE' but, instead likes...

Talking about his stardom, films and more John spells some beans on how he likes his life to be even as a star or a superstar.

There's a lot of change in John Abraham that one can see. Initially, after his debut, the actor did films that were fun, comedy and romance that made him the next chocolate boy for the audiences. But, as time started flowing he started making some smart choices in films like Madras Cafe, Force, and Parmanu.

However, the actor says that he engaging with people in a simple way rather than going out of his way to gain the attention.

In an interview with a leading agency, the Dhoom actor talked about his career, about his stardom and the film.

The actor said that he doesn't want any attention and lives a simple life. "I am not a narcissistic person by nature, I don't like going out looking for attention. I don't have a bodyguard, I have a simple life, I don't wear a watch, I have a basic car. I am a middle-class person and I will not lose that. I live my life on my own terms, I am frugal in my lifestyle," said the actor.

He added, "It beats me when in south India you are called megastar or superstar. Vanity to another level scares me. I connect with the audience (with a thought) that I am not like a star to them. I don't want to become a star to them, I want to be John Abraham the person."

In 15 years of his career, John mentions that he has done almost all the kind of films till now. He states, "I have done every kind of film. The subtlety in my performance is lauded today more than it was earlier. Those days it was about being over expressive, garish, loud as that was considered as good acting. Times have changed, subtlety in performance is important and that comes across in most of my work."

Meanwhile, John Abraham is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming film Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film also stars Diana Penty in the lead role. After a lot of wait and controversies with the production houses, the film has now got a final release it. Parmanu will be hitting the screens on May 25, 2018.

About his film Parmanu and his character, John reveals, "Col Sharma was there when Pokhran test happened and he was a consultant for our film. We changed the names of all the characters...we couldn't keep (nuclear scientist and former President) APJ Abdul Kalam's name but we have kept the plot really. The only fictional character is that of mine... that is the only creative liberty. We have dedicated the film to the heroes of this country from Army-men to scientists."
