Jennifer Winget's 'CODE M' witnesses a surge in viewership on ALTBalaji during the quarantine period!

The year 2020 has seen quite a few path-breaking & hard-hitting series in the Indian OTT space and their popularity never seems to fade even after months of their release. More than four months since its launch, ALTBalaji's mystery drama 'CODE M' continues to be a highly watched action-based web-series released this year.

 Amidst the nationwide lockdown, the web-series has entered the homes and hearts of audiences across the country with a resounding 40% surge in views on ALTBalaji. The recent rise in viewership for their show has led to the actors receiving an immense amount of love on their social media handles as fans can’t stop raving about the series and their performances. Having earned a cult following amongst the audience in such a short span of time, it's safe to say that 'CODE M' has successfully managed to keep the audiences glued to their screens.

 In addition to the riveting narrative and plot, Jennifer Winget makes an impressive debut on the digital platform as an army lawyer who dealt with a high-profile case. Essaying the character of an Indian Army lawyer Monica Mehra, she proves her mettle by delivering a power-packed performance featuring a host of action stunts and hard-hitting dialogues. Investigating an encounter that left two alleged terrorists and a soldier dead, Monica Mehra finds out that everything is not what it looks like. Also raking in the plaudits talented actors Rajat Kapoor as Colonel Suryaveer Chauhan, and Tanuj Virwani in the role of a civilian lawyer named Angad Sandhu, who plays a vital role in helping Monica solve the mysteries that come in her path. 

Gripping storyline, fabulous screenplay and power packed performances in this eight episodes series is a must watch! In addition to these two, one also gets to see some brilliant acting by members of the ensemble cast that include Seema Biswas, Keshav Sadhna, Aalekh Kapoor, Madhurima Roy, Gautam Ahuja and Meghana Kaushik. It is worth highlighting that the lockdown has led to the audience re-watching the series and staying strong during this period just like how Monica gains strength in the most difficult times with Angad’s support.
