Jeetendra: It’s great to be back on screen and making my digital debut with ALTBalaji feels like I'm home!

If anticipation and hype around the release of Baarish Season 2 weren’t enough, viewers are all set for a treat they could never expect as the show will feature veteran actor Jeetendra Kapoor. 

We have exclusively reported about Jeetendra to return to the screen, this time in a never-seen-before avatar. The legend will be seen in a special cameo in the upcoming season.

Jeetendra Kapoor will play the role of Jeetuji Gandhi, a veteran in the diamond business who has an eye for not just recognizing diamonds but also people. A selfless personality, he is one who is always in a positive frame of mine and always wants the very best for himself as well as others. Despite Anuj (Sharman Joshi) suffering a huge loss in his business, Jeetuji sees the true potential hidden inside and happily partners with him. And that’s not all, he does every bit to play cupid between Anuj and Gauravi (Asha Negi) and tries his various ways to help them solve their misunderstandings. So much so that he takes the help of his daughter to hatch this plan to reunite the couple.

The cast and crew have been extremely warm on set and it’s lovely to see their affection towards me. I am delighted to be playing the role of Jeetuji as he is someone who I can relate to. My fans and viewers will see the various shades of my character, who tries to reunite Anuj and Gauravi, and I’m sure they will like my short stint in this show. I’ve been an avid fan of the show since its first season and I hope that Baarish Season 2 goes on to become a huge success.”

An unusual tale between a middle-class girl and a rich businessman, Baarish embraces the roller coaster journey of life which strikes the right chord with viewers who always root for love. Starring a talented ensemble that includes Priya Banerjee, Vikram Singh Chauhan, Abhishek Verma, Anuj Duhan, Shubhangi Latkar, Benaf Patel and Sahil Shroff, it remains to be seen if the rain and love will once again play a key role in getting Anuj and Gauravi back together.
