JD Majethia opens up on whether TV shows shoot will resume post Lockdown 3.0

With the on going global pandemic, almost everyone's life has come to a halt. The healthcare workers and the police force are working day in and out to help the citizens of our country. The pandemic has taken a toll on the economy of the country and just like other industries, our entertainment industry is also suffering.

With the stop in shoots, the channels are relying on the reruns to entertain the fans amidst the lockdown.  Amid the lockdown 3.0, several parts of the country are getting certain relaxations with the restrictions. Talking about the restart of shoots, Indian Film and TV Producers Council (IFTPC) chairman, TV and web wing, JD Majethia got into a conversation with Pinkvilla where he revealed that he is taking regular notes about the situation.

Jd Majethia said, "Mumbai being in the red zone, we will await the decision of the Maharashtra government. We are regularly taking notes of the situation and keep preparing ourselves on how to go about it, keeping the required parameters of health and safety of all concerned in mind. Amidst the heartbreaking, gloomy, pessimistic, depressing atmosphere around especially for our industry due to a few untimely deaths, we want to be practical yet bring back the smile. We want to be hopeful, courageous, and optimistic for our entire industry and the audiences. We, as an industry will do everything possible to stand in support with the government and start the shooting at the earliest post lockdown 3.0."

He further mentioned that the chances of resuming the shoots will depend on what is the progress and situation where the lockdown is lifted and also the situation in Mumbai from a few days from now.
