Jasuben and her family welcome the rains

As the scorching summer heat gets unbearable and the dust blows into our face, the first shower of rains brings respite to all our souls. Everyone looks forward to this amazing season, and it’s not just we who celebrate the onset of monsoons but our television stars too.

Jasuben Jayantilal Joshi’s Joint family is excited about the onset of the monsoons and is all geared up to celebrate the arrival of the first showers with gusto. Telly Buzz caught up with the head of the family to know more about the celebrations.

The popular Anang Desai says, “We have always celebrated every occasion in the Joshi family with grandeur and this time the rains have also come with a bang, hence, we decided to have a blast.” Sharing their plans on the monsoon celebrations Swati aka Jasuben says, “During the rains everyone loves to eat hot pakodas, ladoos with garam chai. So the women got together to prepare these rain delicacies and the whole family shared them and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.”

And how much did the men assist the women in preparing these food items? To which Anang laughs and replies, “The kitchen is a woman’s domain and I don’t think we would want to mess it up by involving ourselves in the cooking. They are anyways, too scared to let us in also. However, we did help them by providing all the necessary ingredients.”
