Janhvi Kapoor's Roohi Afza lands into another controversy!

Janhvi Kapoor who made her Bollywood debut with Dhadak has some interesting projects on her work font including Kargil Girl, Roohi Afza and Dostana 2 which has got her fans super excited. The 22-year-old actress is currently working on the horror-comedy titled Roohi Afza. The film has been in headlines for many reasons and yet again has landed into a controversy.

A recent report in Times Of India suggests that the film starring Janhvi Kapoor is being protested by priests who say that the identity of Bateshwar should be maintained. Changing the name Bateshwar on CHC signboard has also made health department angry.

The film is being shot at 101 Shiv temples by Dinesh Vijan's production house. Bateshwar's name is changed among all locations has totally disappointed the locals. Bateshwar CHC superintendent Dr Suryabhan has said that permission to change the name was not taken which has been objected by the officials. The priest at Bateshwar Temple, Jai Prakash Goswami and Nephew of Late PM Vajpayee also said that the identity of the place should not be twisted.

Earlier the film was titled Rooh Afza. However, the owners of the rose syrup, which is 112 years old in India were upset as their brand name was being used for a horror-comedy by producers Dinesh Vijan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. Following this development, the makers changed the name to RoohiAfza.

This film will witness a new on-screen pair as Janhvi will be seen sharing screen space with Rajkummar Rao for the first time.
