Janhvi Kapoor unveils mother Sridevi's wax statue at Madame Tussauds Singapore; Photos and Videos inside...

It been more than a year since Bollywood’s first female Superstar Sridevi left us for a heavenly abode. The legendary actress who died of drowning on 24th February last year, not only left behind her credible and extraordinary work but is also survived by filmmaker husband Boney Kapoor, and daughters Khushi and Janhvi Kapoor. 

It was a few weeks ago, on Sridevi’s birthday, when Madame Tussauds Singapore had revealed that they will soon be featuring Sridevi's first ever wax figurine and even shared snippets of the figurine that has been designed after her classic Hawa Hawai look.

Yesterday Janhvi, Khushi along with father and uncle Sanjay Kapoor, unveiled Sridevi’s wax statue at Madame Tussauds Singapore. As soon as the event started videos and photos from many social media users started going viral.

Last year on her 55th birth anniversary, Boney Kapoor and their daughters had organised an event in the loving memory of Sridevi. All of them got misty-eyed and the had broken down while sharing, "My love story with Sridevi is an open book. Whatever matters of the heart that can be shared is all in the public domain. What is most close (about her) will remain in the heart. That’s my support system for life. Today this vacuum, this void cannot be replaced but the good wishes and the goodwill that she has left behind is something that we can live with... She is with me, in my memories...with my children."
