Janhvi Kapoor's film, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl released a couple of days ago, however, it continues to be at the centre of backlash amid ongoing debate around nepotism. The movie has been subjected to a lot of trolling online, however, there are some who are standing up for the cause that the film celebrates, trying to explain why the movie doesn't deserve to be trolled.

Meanwhile, Janhvi recently spoke about how her sister Khushi Kapoor and father Boney Kapoor have reacted to the trolling she has had to face. The actress went on to say, "My sister is supremely cool and strong, so she is like, ‘Just don’t give a sh*t, it is fine.’ But you have to exercise more sensitivity because there is a bigger thing at play and bigger emotions at play that everyone is dealing with. I don’t want to ever come from a place where I am like, ‘Oh, sympathise with me, I am being trolled’ because everyone does have their journey."

However, unlike her sister, father Boney is hurt, reveals Janhvi. She said, "Yeah, it hurt my father, but he had seen the film much before and his belief in my performance, and the film was so strong that he was not so affected by the social media situation. That gave me a lot of strength as well. There were a couple of days when he was literally stalking me in my house because he did not know how low I was feeling. But after the initial day or two of feeling bogged down by it, it fuels you. At least, for me."

Meanwhile, Janhvi also spoke about being worried if the film's criticism will affect her career, and she added how it was a worry in the beginning, however, she later learned a valuable lesson. She added how the fear is always going to exist given that one is performing for the audience, however, by the end of the film's shooting, she learned how self-belief and hard work will get one anywhere while also adding how the trolling during Dhadak was worse.

First of all Nepotism is not a troll. It's a fact! If u want to escape the sour then be good to your conscience. Unlike Alia get your chances by proper audition. Go & learn acting course, prove your worth to urself.because of sridevi u got this previage of someone asking you about " how u feel" .Think about the outsider will anyone come and ask them about what they feel ! No..just if one movie fails,he/ she is marked as a flop actor by your kjo uncle and other uncles'..bas they have to go back or start from the scratch. No one is going to ask for a one night vacation with u,no sexual pleasures from u will be expected. U will escape from all sort of molestations too ! This fears and inhibitions are out of your line now..baby you are safe but 1000 are standing there unprotected, unsafe and facing all the unjust to have a one time showbizz!
We all know it's your karma ! Take this also your karma, this also an acid test that u should face..stand in the line, give auditions and then a grab a movie..u will be accepted. Do u really think with your first movie performance u deserve this role of gunjan! U might / might not had excelled it.,but did u deserve with it,when there are so many talents out there....that is the question public is asking all of u guys..this is not the harrassment but the certificate which public now wants to issue you!! Take it with your heads down, sure soon u will shine like your mother..we Tamilians loved your mother like ours! We will love you too,but only if u get through a proper way!
